Huntington Guitar Lessons

Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Toby Tobias is the founder of Huntington Guitar Lessons. He has immersed himself in all genres of American Music of the last 50 years.  He is a graduate of the prestigious Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem, Israel, where he studied Jazz Composition and Guitar. He has been teaching guitar and music theory for over 30 years in all genres and he is thrilled to be able to bring his knowledge and skills of guitar and music to the students of Huntington and the surrounding areas, including Cold Spring Harbor, Woodbury, Greenlawn, Centerport, Syosset, Northport, Dix Hills, East Northport and Melville.
 

Aside from teaching guitar, Toby is currently involved in a number of interesting musical projects that keeps him working and being on the cutting edge of musical life in Huntington and Long Island in general. 

His performance work, as a solo songwriter, in various duos and trios and as bandleader of The Toby Tobias Ensemble,
has garnered fans across Long Island and beyond. His acclaimed original production 'Journey from Johannesburg' is currently being performed at venues throughout the Tri-State area and further afield.
